William Murphy has been a police officer for the past 33 years. He is currently a Los Angeles County Deputy Sheriff Reserve. Bill has worked as a firearms instructor/armorer, use of force instructor and has spent over a decade as a SWAT Team member. Bill is the lead instructor for Low-light and Firearms courses at the SureFire Institute. Bill has been a Gunsite instructor since 1992 and is a Rangemaster for Pistol, Carbine, Shotgun and Sub-machinegun.
