This two day class is an extension of Long Range Rifle covering the techniques, tactics and procedures used by the sniper to get first round hits on man size targets out to 1000 yards.
Range estimation, scope adjustment and zeroing, angular adjustment theory, external ballistics and weather effects are just a few of the topics that are covered. You’ll be instructed in shooting moving targets, low light shooting, Mil and MOA reticles, use of data books/ballistic software and much more by our world class Rangemasters. Target engagements will be made at both known and unknown distances out to 1000 yards using the techniques covered.
This optional two day class is offered at the end of the LRR 5 day class. The extra two days allow us to cover the effects of shooting through intermediate barriers and shooting at extreme up/down angles, plus close range compensation and additional practical exercises.
