This course provides instructor-level training. Upon successful completion of this course, individuals will have the necessary knowledge, skills and resources to safely and effectively conduct Live-Fire Shoot-House (LFSH) Operations. Students will become familiar with LFSH construction and safety considerations associated with its use. Target Trap construction and proper placement of obstacles and floor plan designs, five rules of room clearing, and the preparation, equipment and training standards suggested prior to introduction of students in a LFSH environment will be exercised in this class. This course will also cover safety considerations that accompany LFSH Operations and how to mitigate those issues. Development of skills testing, shoot-on-the-move, ballistic, mechanical and
explosive breaching theories and CQB concepts will be addressed in the curriculum. On the last day of this course students will plan, design and administer a training scenario which addresses the assigned training objectives.
