Transition To Pistol Mounted Optics

This course is intended for anyone who has taken a Gunsite Defensive Pistol Course (3-Day 150 or higher) and has transitioned to a Pistol Mounted Optic (PMO) but hasn’t had any formalized training in the use of the PMO.

Many shooters in this situation have “Self-Taught” the use of the PMO and the result is often using the PMO in the same manner as iron sights. This may work but it is generally less efficient than proper PMO technique and fails to exploit the full benefits of Pistol Mounted Optics.

This course will give those shooters who already have a foundation in the basics of The Modern Technique of the Pistol the skills necessary to fully realize the benefits of Pistol Mounted Optics. This class will apply these skills in tactical problems through the use of PMO specific drills, repetition of square drills to reinforce these techniques, and apply these skills in indoor and outdoor simulators.

A deposit of 1/3 (tuition only) is due within 10 days of applying. All remaining balances are due on or before 14 days prior to the first day of class.

Cancellation Policy:
If you cancel a reservation more than 14 days prior to start of class, your deposit is fully refundable or transferable to another class of your choice. If you cancel less than 14 days before your class, One-third (1/3) of your class tuition is non-transferable and non-refundable. Any amount over this 1/3 is fully transferable or refundable (with the exception of GAS) if you cannot make the class for any reason. All GAS reservations cancelled less than 30 days prior are non-transferable and non-refundable.
