Joe Nassetta is a 20 year veteran of the Law Enforcement and Fire/EMS community. He has worked patrol, investigations, and professional standards assignments, as well as SWAT, with police sniper, tactical paramedic, and hostage negotiator specialties. Joe has also been a firearms instructor for his agency, and the police academy.
After retiring from law enforcement, Joe became a commercially rated pilot, and Certificated Flight Instructor. He is presently a Department of Defense contractor, flying as an instructor pilot for the US Air Force. He also flies regularly as a volunteer search and rescue pilot in the Rocky Mountains.
Joe received the Jeff Cooper Legacy Foundation Scholarship in 2013, and has been teaching at Gunsite since 2016.
