AR-15 Build/123 Basic Carbine
Gunsite is again partnering with Matt Gish. This time adding an AR-15 Build / Operator 123 Basic Carbine Class
You will spend 2 days with Matt building your own AR-15 from a kit and spend 3-days using it under the supervision of a Gunsite Instructor.
Matt Gish brings a unique and strong background to this course:
1988 graduate from Colorado School of Trades
1985 – 1991 The Gun Room, Denver, CO – sales and gunsmithing
1991 – 1993 Springfield Armory Custom Shop, Geneseo, IL
1993 – 1996 Les Baer Custom Shop, Hillsdale, IL – lead gunsmith and secured the FBI HRT contract for high capacity 1911 .45 built on Para Ordnance frame.
1996 Formed Professional Gunsmithing (Pro-Gun) Submitted single stack 1911 .45 for FBI RFP 6990, passing all testing requirements.
2008 left civilian market for FBI – CIRG. lead gunsmith for HRT and SWAT.

Matt Gish provides all tools needed for the class. Students should bring safety glasses, black sharpie, paper, pencil or pen for note taking and flashlight or headlamp. Questions pertaining to the details of the course should be directed to Mr. Matt Gish at progun1911@reagan.com.
I took Rifle 270 years ago. I did not do particularly well, but I discovered what I needed to change on my rifle and scope, as well as what I needed to practice. After that I had very successful hunts in Africa, Canada, Alaska and Mexico.
