AK Armorer Operator Course
The Modern Technique as applied to the AK carbine. Learn to properly disassemble, assemble, clean, maintain, identify and install the right aftermarket accessories, as well as learn to manage your environment from arm’s length to 300 yards. This course will help you become thoroughly familiar with your AK and your capabilities with it.
All of the important aspects of maintenance, marksmanship, manipulation, and mindset will be covered. You will shoot from a variety of positions and learn how to use them to conform to available cover in our indoor and outdoor simulators. In addition to traditional range training and drills, indoor and outdoor simulators, you will learn how to properly: zero, load, reload, clear stoppages, use appropriate ready positions, shoot from intermediate and prone positions, shoot from asymmetric positions, shoot, and move, move off the line of attack, and shoot in low light/no light conditions.
The AK carbine platform makes an excellent choice for home defense. You will learn tactics and techniques that can be employed in your home or place of business in our live fire indoor and outdoor simulators.
AK-47, AK-74, Valmet, Galil, and similar platforms of the AK design are applicable for this class.
Physical Difficulty Level: Moderate (Students should be capable of getting in and out of kneeling, sitting, and prone positions.)
