Pulaski Tennessee Instructor Development
The course is designed to teach the teacher the skills needed to bring out the skills from their students/officers. Every day the students will present their area of instruction in Pistol with and without Red dot, Rifle. They explain what to use, how to operate it, and most importantly, explain why! This course is not intended to teach the student how to shoot, so the student-instructor should come with a strong fundamental foundation of shooting. Every student will have a chance to write a plan of instruction, teach that plan, and apply it in drills to the students. We have found that most firearms instructor schools focus on shooting but lacks in the areas of actual instruction and running the firing line. We try to balance both and include the skills to enhance the instructor to safely run a line, develop drills, and build their student’s skills level. This course is TN POST Certified.
Open to both LE and civilians
*Important Note: Knowledge of safe gun handling & marksmanship / Agency Organization Firearms Instructor
I took Rifle 270 years ago. I did not do particularly well, but I discovered what I needed to change on my rifle and scope, as well as what I needed to practice. After that I had very successful hunts in Africa, Canada, Alaska and Mexico.
