Advanced Tactical Pistol Problems – Simulators
Many students recognize the value of the live-fire indoor and outdoor simulators offered at Gunsite. There is no better experience than first-hand searching a house, building or outdoors with your pistol, making proper use of concealment and cover, and properly identifying a target as a shoot or no-shoot. Further, using Simunitions against a thinking, experienced role-player in an indoor and outdoor simulator is not only exhilarating, but also some of the greatest learning experiences possible. You will review your shooting skills for a portion of Training Day 1 (TD1) and then on to more and more difficult drills such as strong hand only simulators, night simulators, and more. Think of it as a “finishing school” to see how quick and accurate you can be and to enhance proper target identification.
*Important Note: 250 Defensive Pistol (with a grade of “Marksman” or higher)
I took Rifle 270 years ago. I did not do particularly well, but I discovered what I needed to change on my rifle and scope, as well as what I needed to practice. After that I had very successful hunts in Africa, Canada, Alaska and Mexico.
