Single Person Tactics

This course provides Tactical Problems designed for the lone / single person armed with a handgun to dominate when confronted with a critical incident experienced inside structures in the public and or private sector (both residential and commercial).

Who should attend – this course is specifically designed to provide training and information to persons who have attended the 250 Defensive Pistol course or greater. This class is intended to be a deep dive into single person building clearing tactics enhancing one’s skill level, and expertise in this discipline. This will benefit citizens, Law Enforcement, Military Personnel, and other armed professionals.

Topics to be covered: Tactical Responsibilities, entry guidelines and movement tactics. General scenarios and courses of action required: response to active shooters, burglary to your home, rapid exit extraction methods from a restaurant or café, going barricaded, evacuation of others. You will be coached to make a hasty assessment, evaluation of structure design and conclude the context of situation to drive courses of action.You will acquire the ability to choose the safest tactic, and method of clearing based on the situation and terrain.

Equipment Needed – a reliable pistol (9mm or larger) with holster and magazine holders, and 5 five magazines (single stack) or 3 three magazines (double stack), hearing protection, clear and dark lens glasses, handheld flashlight (500 lumens or brighter), sturdy shoes, elbow and knee pads, long sleeve shirt (for force on force).

Payment Terms:
A deposit of 1/3 (tuition only) is due within 10 days of applying. All remaining balances are due on or before 14 days prior to the first day of class.

Cancellation Policy:
If you cancel a reservation more than 14 days prior to start of class, your deposit is fully refundable or transferable to another class of your choice. If you cancel less than 14 days before your class, One-third (1/3) of your class tuition is non-transferable and non-refundable. Any amount over this 1/3 is fully transferable or refundable (with the exception of GAS) if you cancel prior to class. "No contact, No show" - if a cancellation is not received by email prior to class, 100% of the tuition is forfeit. All GAS reservations cancelled less than 30 days prior are non-transferable and non-refundable.
