3-Day Prep Class

The week before the 50th Anniversary GAS Match, sharpen your edge and get match-ready with this focused 3-day high round count course built specifically to prepare shooters for the weekend ahead.

With our traditional GAS week courses already filled, this special format gives competitors an opportunity to knock the rust off, refine skills, and build confidence before stepping onto the range for the match.

This is a pure shooting class centered on refining speed and accuracy needed to perform at GAS. Consisting only of square range drills designed to push speed, accuracy, consistency, and accountability. No simulators. No shoot houses. Just purposeful repetitions, steel, paper, and lots of rounds down range!

Students will work through structured drills emphasizing:

Efficient gun handling
Faster target acquisition
Accuracy at speed
Transitions and recoil control
Skill on demand

Throughout the class, shooters will be challenged on both steel and stationary paper targets while receiving coaching designed to help elevate individual performance heading into the GAS Match weekend.

The schedule concludes with a day of rest before the match begins, giving students time to recover, prep gear, and step onto the range ready to perform.

Whether your goal is to shake off the cobwebs, tune your mechanics, or make a serious run at the podium, this is your opportunity to practice with purpose and walk away with a trophy or two.

Payment Terms:
A deposit of 1/3 (tuition only) is due within 10 days of applying. All remaining balances are due on or before 14 days prior to the first day of class.

Cancellation Policy:
If you cancel a reservation more than 14 days prior to start of class, your deposit is fully refundable or transferable to another class of your choice. If you cancel less than 14 days before your class, One-third (1/3) of your class tuition is non-transferable and non-refundable. Any amount over this 1/3 is fully transferable or refundable (with the exception of GAS) if you cancel prior to class. "No contact, No show" - if a cancellation is not received by email prior to class, 100% of the tuition is forfeit. All GAS reservations cancelled less than 30 days prior are non-transferable and non-refundable.

Gunsite Academy, Inc. requires applicants to supply certain documentation prior to participation in training. Acceptance of credential documents is at the sole discretion of Gunsite. Applicant verifies that all credential documentation is true and correct.
