
David Dolan is retired from law enforcement after 40 years of service. Seven of those years were with the Glendale Police Department, and thirty-three with the City of Los Angeles. He worked as a firearms instructor for his entire career. One of his assignments was as a firearms instructor at the Los Angeles Police Academy, teaching recruits and in-service officers. He trained officers in the areas of Vehicle and Foot Surveillance, Plainclothes Operations, Handgun, Rifle, Shotgun Manipulations and Marksmanship, Back-Up/Secondary Firearms, Uniform and Concealed Carry, Weapons System Transitions, and Position Shooting.
