Michael Lang is currently a sworn officer with the state of Colorado and has received commendations for his work. He serves as a patrol Commander and field training officer. Michael is a lead instructor for handgun, rifle and shotgun along with certifications to teach less lethal weapons and TCCC. He is a Master Instructor with Colorado (POST) Police Officers Standards and Training board, in both firearms and arrest control. Michael is an Assistant Academy Director for the state academies and assists many regional agencies with their academies and tactical training.
Prior to his law enforcement career, Michael worked as a private security contractor with specialized training in navigation and as a tactical team medic. He has been a professional instructor for law enforcement and private sector for more than 25 years. Michael is certified to train and qualify armed school teachers’ in Colorado and has been a subject matter expert for developing national training for security teams.
